If I order Showtime will I be able to watch season 5 of Dexter?

I just finished season 4 of Dexter and I bought it on DVD. I was disappointed to find out season 5 is not on DVD or Netflix. I am timid to download the right tools to be able to watch it online and don't want to have to deal with the difficulties that usually accompany that sort of viewing. So my last resort is to order Showtime and watch the latest season. If I order Showtime I will be able to watch or do I have to order Showtime on Demand or something like that? Thanks
