If I just want to own a bike BUT not want to ride it ?

I was thinking about getting a bike, I have no drivers license so Im not riding it. I was wondering if I can have the insurance and registarations under the COSIGNER or the Co-owners name? I have no license and Ive never had one. Yes, I will be financing.

I can't get it from the dealer without registrations and insurance. Plus imagine if it got stolen.
 
If you don't plan to ride it, you don't need to register it and you don't need to get insurance. Just keep it off the public street (so it doesn't get towed as abandoned without plates).

Bikes (and cars) goes BAD if NOT used for extended times. Ask any motorcycle owner. In the spring (after the winter disuse) the bikes are hard to start. That is just the winter.

I would hold off getting it until I got a license FIRST.
