install an excellent door lock? I live in a bad neighborhood where break-ins via doors getting kicked in are pretty common. I was going to install a very good deadbolt and a reinforced strike. But I'm also planning on installing a security storm door(think iron bars). I've never mounted one of these security storm doors and am curious if I'm doing overkill on kick in protection. Or even worse, if I install a reinforced strike w/ 3" wood screws may I actually be using up some of the space on the door frame that the security storm door will need in order to mount?
