If I have to voluntarily surrender to jail will they make me take out my hair

extensions? I have over 200 metal interlocking hair extensions in my hair. I was ordered by the court to surrender myself to jail (I chose jail over a Hefty fine, so it isn't a major offense) and i was wondering if they are going to ask me to remove the extensions. They are very hard to take out, especially 200 of them. Do they make you pass through a metal detector or anything? If not then maybe they wont notice.
