If I have an unlimited texting plan on Verizon, is it still free to text Canada?

I was just wondering, to make sure I don't run up a large bill.

No it is free to domestic numbers. You will be charged 20cents per text message and 25cents per picture message. Becareful with these
 
Nope, unless you get an international plan you most likely cannot text to other countries for free. It is probably 25 to 50 cents a text. I am about 99.9% sure you cannot but you should call verizon (611) or a verizon store asap to find out.

The only time it wouldnt charge you is if you text a US number who happens to be up in canada on vacation.
