If I have a smart tv & wireless router and a subscription to GBTV do I still need a Roku box.?

I bought a Roku box for my main tv, but I don't want to buy another if I don't have to for my bedroom Samsung smart tv with internet capability. Is it necessary, unable to find or load Gbtv icon on this tv. Help!
