if i have a helio ocean, how can i get it to work for virgin mobile?

i might get a helio ocean online (i know a couple websites that sell them) but idk if virgin mobile will cover it automaticly, or what? and if they can cover the helio how do i get it to work there ( because virgin mobile doesn't have it on their website) the websites are
