Lets say I have a story that one would classify in the category 'Internet/Society' ... and I feel it deserves a large audience. What website should I approach to break the story.
The first thing I thought of was the Huffington Post. I've never read it but always heard a lot about it. However, when I checked it out, it all looks like just a bunch of garbage tabloid type of stuff and I was pretty disgusted with the focus of their content. So, other then Huffington Post, but some website with similar blogging clout and online circulation.
any suggestions?
Well, to be honest I would hope to stay away from celebrity gossip and dirt sort of sites. I don't think its CNN worthy, and anyway I'm looking for something that has real internet buzz, not a regular news outlet that also has a website
