if i get one B throughout my entire high school career...?

how much does that affect the way colleges look at my GPA? a 4.0 looks great on a resume, so how would a 3.98 look compared to that? Especially considering a 3.98 would drop me about 8-9 spots in class ranking (from first). I'm looking at applying to schools such as Duke, Washington University in St. Louis, etc.
