If I get a first degree in chemistry, will the mind that I only got a A*BB at A-level?

I got a bit complacent during my a-levels and so didn't do as well as I was predicted or could have achieved. If I get a first degree in chemistry will my grades (A*BB) will these grades hold me back :S.
