...what to do? I obviously forget to unplug the guitar cable from the pedal sometimes and when the cable is inserted, the batteries work (it's a trigger i guess). If it's unplugged, the pedal light won't turn on if you press on the pedal, if it's plugged, the light will come. It requires 6 Volt batteries and I've already had to throw 4 away because I forgot to remove the cable!

Is this normal? How can I do something about this?
