If I download the trial verison of WOW (play to lvl 20) can I use that to

play on a private server? Please help. I try to download Molten WoW and Extrenal WoW but both or missing WOW.exe... So I figured if I just downloaded the trial I could somehow connect that to a private server.. I'm totally new to this..... Please help!
