I want to delete all my internet history because I'm tired of having useless pages saved.. But i have a lot of important pages bookmarked.. if I delete my history, will it delete my bookmarks too?

also.. when you delete history, is it permanently deleted? i don't want the files saved in some secret place in my computer, taking up space.
if you have any more info, just let me know! ^^ thanks.

No your bookmarks wont be deleted! Its good to delete your history and cookies, it will speed up your computer! It will pretty much be deleted, i think a computer expert could go in and locate things, but it wont affect your computer's free space...its free space but it still would need to be written over to totally erase it completely.
Every site you go to, you leave your "fingerprints" so to speak. If you are trying to hide something, it will be hidden from your average joe, but an expert can find any erased files. In that case your only bet is to do a complete restart with your disk.
But if you are only trying to free up disk space, deleting your history, cache, and cookies will do the trick!
