if i buy a tmobile phone, and i already have a sim card, do i just put the sim card

in and it works? does the new phone need some sort of activation? o__o
the sim card is a tmobile sim card. it already has a number and a prepaid plan. my phone broke so i just need a new phone
 
If it is unlocked then it will work,else you need to unlock it.If you need to unlock phone, I suggest you can approach unBBlock.com (for Blackberry) or Simpleunlocking.com and get the permanent unlock service.
