...able to get activated? if i buy a sprint phone on craigslist is there any reason why it would not be able to get activated?
I did ask sprint... they said they had no comment. I am assuming that means I can probably get one on craigslist, but...
I wish they were more helpful on the matter.
Regarding the ESN... so it could be locked if someone prematurely terminated a contract and then sold the phone? I don't know why Sprint doesn't just say that when you ask. No comment was not what I expected... jerks lol. Thank you for the ESN answer, that was exactly what I was looking for.
 
You should be able to activate it, but with some phones (like the Instinct for example) you have to have the right kind of plan for that phone in order to activate it.
