I don't have one..how? I am chatting on Yahoo IM with someone who wants me to see them on their cam, but I don't have a cam, how do I enable something to be able to see them?
 
You don't need a cam to see them. Theirs will transmit a visual signal to you which you will be able to see on your desktop. If you want the other party to see you too you will need either a laptop with a built-in/compatible camera installed or you will have to buy a webcam to attach to your desktop screen.
