Dependent students get financial aid all the time. It is based on your parents incomes. The less your parents make, the more you will receive in aid. However, even students who don't qualify for need-based grants will still qualify for student loans.
Living with your parents has nothing to do with your status as "dependent" for financial aid purposes. The federal government considers you dependent for FAFSA purposes until you are 24 years old, married, have a child of your own, join the army, or your parents die. Just moving out will not matter.
Also, just because you are considered independent doesn't mean you'll get less. For many students, once they are independent of their parents they actually get less aid.
