So, I used to like a guy, and we were at the point where we would smile and say hi when we saw each other at school. But about a month ago, he lost his temper at one of my friends who was asking about me, and said that he wanted me to leave him alone because he already had a girlfriend and he didn't feel that way about me. After that, I backed off completely, not giving him any attention and leaving him alone.
I've been doing this for about a month now, but I've noticed lately that he's looking at me a lot more than he used to. Before this he didn't used to look at me, I'd usually have to talk to him first, but now I see him looking at me whenever I'm around. I don't look at him, and if I do I'm the one who looks away first (It's like our roles have reversed).
Does he want to talk to me/me to approach him? Or is he just looking because I'm avoiding him and playing hard to get. I would have thought that if he didn't want anything to do with me, he would completely ignore me and try to pretend I don't exist. Any opinions would be really appreciated, thanks!
