new reform to go into effect? We are told health care is in dire need of reform. It has to be fixed and has to be fixed NOW or we are all screwed.
Yet, the democrats plans to fix the broken system will not go into effect until 2013 even if it were passed tonight. Why?
Could it be that 2013 is after the next presidential election and enacting health care reform before then would insure Obama's defeat in the 2012 election cycle?
Anyone find this odd? Kind of like the Stimulus Bill. Had to be done today. But only 6% of the $786 Billion will be spent this year. Most of it will not be spent until in 2010 and more in 2011/12. Election years.
