attractive and sexy? girls are the ones that usually put on make up, wear revealing clothes to look sexy, get there hair done etc. and guys...well all they do is shave and get a haircut
so why is it that girls go through all that trouble to look so hot when guys are the ones that want sex the most. so to me guys should put on makeup, get several hair dues and try to look appealing to women so they can get what they want.
 
confidence, pride and so forth. Being hot is like an ego boost the same way as being a badass or the best race car driver or being really fast/strong/agile is for men.

Instinctively, women have to appear fertile for males to want to reproduce with her. In turn, the female chooses the male with the most prospect.

James, you are so right, and I've wondered the same thing myself.
In the animal kingdom, it's clearly that way, isn't it: the males (in order to attract the female) are the pretty ones . . .
It's as if, collectively, women have forgotten their 'power' (that is, that we have the thing wanted, ahem).
So, maybe our timing's gotten off pretty bad, the sexual revolution had some casualties we didn't expect (that women wouldn't know how to deal once we got into partaking of sex as men have: with abandon and amnesia!).
Wonderful subject for sociology & feminism. I guess I'll look into it more when my youngest is on her own & I go back to school for that Phd or Masters.
 
I wish they would! Some guys seem to think that they deserve sex no matter how they look! I just want to say "think again, buddy!"
 
hahaha i dont noe wat category u fall on to but i noe alot of guys dat always try to look nice and clean...and everything some even go do their eyebrows and it might sound gay but if my bf had big ass nasty eyebrows and he goes get em done ill rather him gettin em done then leaving em all gross ...and girls like sex too...some like it more than others but yea.. and we r women and women are supposed to always look beautiful...besides what girl doesnt like looking sexy or cute... ??you never noe who you are gunna meet... girls always hav to look good .. thats just the way it is... and the way females like it :) and so do u guys or no?
 
Girls want to get f*ck*d just as much as guys want to get f*ck*d.. It's just that females have evolved to follow an instinct that makes them want to find the best suited partner before giving up the pussy.. Or, in other words, girls are a pain in the ass..
 
Because men love sex so much, women use this against them...kind of like a fisherman uses bait. They're lured in with the promise of sex (appeal) and then we can do with them what we like.
It's a trap.
 
1. The girls aren't trying to get sex, they are trying to get guys for other reasons...security, company, romance, wealth, and maybe even sex. And they need bait, hence, the make up etc.
2. Gen 3:16..."Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you."
 
Womens drive towards men in adolescens is a competetiveness with other women.

Men lift wieghts, dress like what ever clown is on the tv lately that is thought of as cool or sexy, and hit on women constantly.
 
It's probably because guys want sex the most that girls feel the constant pressure to keep themselves looking good.
 
That's a good point that I've heard before. I really don't know what the answer. But I completely agree that it seems like a paradox. There's a clear and undeniable trend (especially in the current decade) for teen girls to dress ultra-sexy. But at the very same time there is a trend that deems it cool to remain a virgin and to say "No" to sex.
