someone was born with magic powers...? and magic is seen as evil according to monotheistic religious beliefs, then who created the magic powers?
Ok first to all the "logical" people out there, it is a hypothetical situation, why have to explain that is beyond belief, and second I am not asking if magic is against God, I am asking if this happened who CREATED the magic.
Who created the magic? Does Satan have the power of creation?

Not necessarily, because it is the monotheistic religion (the hierarchy of the churches) that says magic is evil, not God. And, if it came from God, would it be magic or would it be 'God's grace' and a 'miracle?'

I just saw your additional details. I don't think Satan could be the creator of the magic, because God's the one who created everything. But, it could be (Blasphemy warning) that God isn't the good guy here (consider all the horrors in the Bible) That maybe Satan saw him for what he was, they had their spat, and God won (he would have to win--He's God) and chucked Satan and his gang out of heaven. And maybe, just maybe, Satan is the rightious one.

Isn't religion wonderful? You can make it fit any scenario you want.
