If GM is doomed, the price of replacement parts?

Mechanical replacement parts and costs would inflate greatly in the coming months if they were to fail and file Chp 11. Because the current production of mechanical parts would stop flowing in the automotive repair industry. Is this likely to happen or can we have some faith and tell ourselves that this problem does not exist and will go away on its own?
 
car companies have to keep makign parts for i believe 10 years after failing. but gm failing is a high posibility and its not looking good for gm owners. but if u drive a gm truck or suv u r in a bit better shape bc those vehicles r on the reliable side opposed to their cars which have tons of problems.
 
Doubtful that replacement parts will be obsolete. People need parts and they will still make them. GM makes cars, not parts.
