If civilization is destroyed in a new Ice Age will Christians be disappointed...

...that it wasn't by fire? Or will they have the humanity to be sad that it's being destroyed in any way?

Second Peter 3:7
By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

For those who take the bible extremely literally? Maybe. But as for me, If I somehow survive (doubtful) I will be devastated at all the loss of life. Regardless of the way they died or what happens to them afterward. I can't stand to see one person being hurt, I could never see millions die.

Also I am pretty sure we could figure out how to survive an ice age. Unless it happened unexpectedly in like 30 min. I think people are pretty smart. IMO when the sun engulfs the earth (coincidentally, in flames) I'm pretty sure we won't be able to survive that.

Well....remember the old joke about good news and bad news?

The good news is that you died by freezing to death.

The bad news is that they sent you to Hell to thaw out.

Bada boom.

If civilization is destroyed where will these people be who could be disappointed that the destruction happened in a form they did not expect?
