If Buying a digital camera from USA what will i Need to be wary of?

Looking at getting a camera from the USA, a panasonic Lumix FZ45, but I am wondering if this will all work ok here in UK? Obviously the battery charger will run at US current so would I need a new charger? Will the battery itself be ok? Any other foreseeable problems?

Actually the camera is a called a LUMIX fz40 in the states.
PLease can twisted_ace tell me wher he saw these for £210 in the UK?? Thanks
