...why do so many people demand that it is absolute truth?
Since when is a "belief" purported as truth?
Is it not a humble opinion?
Is it a contradiction to purport a humble opinion as utter truth to the extent that it bears the threat of damnation to all those who dissent?
In this instance I accept that is impossible to require evidence Craig B. My question is, in light of that, why would it be purported as utter truth, instead of regarded as a humble opinion?
You're saying you have NO evidence for a thing, yet are certain of the existence of that thing. That doesn't make any sense. You can have your belief, but what is the reasoning for demanding it to be truth, hence demanding that those who disagree will perish in hell, a place also held to be a supernatural belief?
