If they are anything like us and what the europeans where like to the rest of the world (when exploring the world for the first time) as at the time they considered themselves enlightened and just took and destroyed. if they were like us. we do the same to other life on this planet at the moment (eg meat from animals). If they are are smarter and friendly and want to trade and be peaceful, wouldnt people stop buying human products?eg. why travel to spain for the sun when you can go to another planet? where fly a plane or drive a car if you can travel faster than light?
and if they are bad and people are being abucted, abused and taken, should we prepare for war?.
or is it better to not let the majority of people know? and ignore potential long term effects?
