he/she still know what it is? For example, say that a young boy and a young girl in Kindergarten become friends in an extremely conservative neighborhood where any mention of sex is taboo. The two friends then grow up and hit puberty. Without knowledge of sex, would their friendship still change nonetheless? Would they still instinctively know about sex and think about doing it?
If you put these two people in the same room together, in private, would the two find out about penetration, especially if the woman is in heat?
 
I believe they would think about it. As the other posters said, it is an innately human behaviour that wasn't caused by media, television, etc... Its 'natural' for people to have sex. I don't think it is possible for a person to grow up and never once be around sexual acitivity. Perhaps they wouldn't know it by that name, but Im sure they would figure out what its all about.
 
Yes. If you go back to Freud's psychosexual theories, it's innate, and the children may not be able to put a name to it, but they will still get the urges and sensations associated with sex/arousal.
 
I think they would. When you hit puberty, hormones kick in that make you want sex, whether it's talked about or not. They would have the feelings, even if they couldn't put a name to it.
