If a guy isn't confident about his "manhood"?

Ok so to be honest I'm not too confident in my size. I'm average and some girls that I have met informed me that they prefer a larger than average size like 8 inches or larger. I just want to know what is your opinion on a guy's "size" and if you know how do I go about enlarging the size naturally without hurting myself in the process.

and trust me, 8 inches is already huge and it might be painful for a girl
