I'm trying to make sure I get this right in the story I'm writing, so I'm hoping someone might know the correct titles. If there's a big company that has their own team of lawyers, would these lawyers be termed "partners"? Would there still be the hierarchy of partner vs. associate? I don't necessarily need to know how it all works, I just want to make sure when I'm talking about partners vs. lawyers and their secretaries, that I'm being accurate. Anyone know?
If a company has a team of lawyers, are there "partners" within the lawyers?
