Idle on Facebook chat?

You know how in internet explorer, you could have a lot of webpages open because of the tabs? Well, if you have facebook open on one of those tabs, and then you switch to another tab and keep it on for ten minutes or so, would you be idle on facebook chat?
 
no. but you can go offline with out signing off and you just go to options and go offline.
