at first, I thought it was that it threatens Australian values and that the burqa suggest rejection of rejection of interaction between fellow Australians. But now, I'm thinking, the contention is a course of action that author is trying to make. but I can't quite get my head around it. It doesn't seem she has a contention at all. Just arguments to make us dislike the burqa.
So if you could help me I want to know is what the contention is.
