Identify a film?

[Hey Diddle Diddle!]

A friend told me about a film today that I also have vague recollections of, but neither of us can place it. Basically people are trapped in a house, mean things happen, they escape through the sewers and then the house implodes into itself. That's all either of us can remember, so it's probably 10+ years old.
