There is not a plate on the bike there is a vin number though. It is located on the neck where the handle bar stem goes threw in the frame it should be in throttle side in front of gas tank on actual frame. IF I remember right the last two digits are the year like fjyu87 would be 1987 all the other numbers mean color and motor size but there in code should start with like fz or fyz or something around that.
