OK, sorry I posted this question a few days ago, and I could certainly use and appreciate any ideas for a Surprise car crazy hubby who will retire early with the buy-out but will officially retired, May 2010. Plan on inviting 150 guests. He owns a beautiful restored 65 GTO, and during the 30 yrs. he loved his job as much as his GTO. On our oter vehicle, the car tag reads "Generous Motors - I Love My Job". He never missed a day, and got along excellent with his co-workers. Any ideas for (food, decorations, games, gift ideas, photos, invitation,phrases/quote, slides, karaoke, music, (not 50's please) etc..ANYTHING on how to "get this party started" would be so appreciated! Must consider cost...Should I invited kids, if so, would it be tacky that they could share some fun for about 1-2 hours, then send them home - or just simply state "parents, please be responsible for your kids" there may be beer, no hard liquor. Just simply clean fun. Thanks again.
