I have 2 hard-drives: A 300gb Slave
A 40gb Master
I have 2 ports for the IDE cable to connect to. One is BLUE and the other is BLACK. I am currently using the BLUE. The cable splits 2-ways and ends with one GREY and one BLACK cable ending. I connected the BLACK end to the Master HArd-drive and the GREY end to the Slave HArd-drive.
This makes the Slave hard-drive obviously as storage. Now I have a new hard-drive that I want also as a slave, however, I do not know how to connect it. Do I connect a new IDE cable to the BLACK motherboard port and ONLY use the Grey end? What changes or new make overs do I do? What should I do to have a 3rd storage with all these settings?
