Idaho Transfer (1973)

I saw a review of Peter Fonda's bizarre time travel tale when I was still at school and it's taken me until 2009 to to see it.
A group of hippy/drippy teenagers are attempting to bypass an impending apocalypse by jumping several decades into the future which, bleak as it is, may offer a slim chance of survival.
No fx, no big names, apart from Keith Carradine, but with a mind-bending, at times, patience-testing plot and a Soylent Green-ish twist.
Allowing for variable acting and the apparent sponsorship by tent and leather trouser makers, it's a curious little movie and deserves to be better known.
Like, wow man.
