Do you think Ichiro Suzuki will be the first Japanese baseball player to get into our hall of fame? The Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown New York. I think he will and is one of the best athletes ever to play baseball and one of the top outfielders to play in major League Baseball in the past 25-30 years. What is your take?

He will be in the HOF. If he was in the majors long enough, he may have been considered the best leadoff hitter besides Henderson. He's had a 200 hit streak every season of his major league career and his defense is unmatched. Not to mention he really opened up the game for Japanese players. He wasn't the first to come over, but it made more teams interested in his league.

It takes 10 years of playing to be in the HOF and Ichiro's contract expires after his 12th year, so he'll play long enough. Look at a guy like Koufax. He couldn't play that long because of arm troubles, but he got in because he would have been one of the greatest pitchers ever. Well, Ichiro would have been one of the best leadoff hitters ever.

He is so far doing the right things and heading in the right direction; but it is (still) premature to predict a Hall plaque in his future.

No I think it will be Hideki Irabu!! If only the baseball writers would wake up!!! LOL
