I have total unreasoned hatred of custard, when I smell the stuff I actually feel my stomach turn and I actually retch. My Girlfriend says my face turns green at the sight of the stuff as well.

You're forgetting Sherbet (or Sorbet). Very light and good fruit flavors available. Best on a really hot day.
