HEY
so im in my first year of IB and have to write a 4000 word essay on a VERY specific topic (so realllyyy have to steer away from general stuff). its basically our first big research paper and we get a year to do research for it or write it.
anyway, im having some trouble thinking of a topic :S
it has to be within a subject and i'd like it to be in history or economics, and if i feel a little daring maybe even math
.
i just want to keep the thesis fairly simple so i can go as in depth with it as possible. and it should be something really interesting, cos its a pretty long term thing...
any ideas on some obscure or controversial historical issues, interesting economic ideas or startling mathematical concepts?
