Iam a company owned car driver with a fuel card.?

All fuel is paid for through my card, but I have to pay monthly for my personal mileage. Starting on Jan 1st 2010, the company I work for will stop using these cards. They have told me I have to pay for all my fuel myself and then claim back my business miles every month. Can you tell me what the tax implications/benefits will be, and can they do this mid tax year?
