It could possible be the best phone ever haha, maybe, especially better than the i930, simply because window sucks and they would have done better to have just done a phone after the i870 with a really cool design. anywasy funtionallity is great, light weight, camera is ok, i dont really use cameras on phones. audio player is awesome and the speaker is phenominal. sleek, huge screen, new look, auto flip is , which is a must have. anyways i just thought i would share my enthusiasm, it seems very very solid, some may say at first it seems a little feeble, but that is because of its lightweight design, very solid, awesome later
 
mine was only $225, but thats a really good price 228, huh, not jealous just telling the truth, if it works for you then thats the phone you need.
 
im pretty sure it is, i could be wrong though but i compared them to a 870 last night and they looked about dead on, they picked up different colors but in the same none the less
 
hey I just got the stereo earbud headsets with ptt button and mic in... Awsome!! Listen to the mp3's in stereo and still us it for walkie talkie and cellular. I am going to sell them at $15 and I should have them on my site this weekend. They work on both the i870 and i930. If you use any stereo headset it doesn't come through in stereo. I haven't seen them on Mot's site or Nextel's site yet. part number nntn5774
 
I finally saw the i870 in the flesh today. I wasnt really all that impressed. I didnt care for the large buttons nor did I like the feeling of the phone in my hand. It felt so fraile. Guess over the last 2 weeks i've grown to love my Brick930. It feels alot sturdier than the 870. But I would agree with this, over all, the i870 is by far the best phone on the Nextel line up! (1.3MP, sleek, bluetoof!!)
