i5-540M or i7-740QM which produces more heat..?!!?

already i have doubt in selecting processor, now i finalised i7-740QM but now one of my friend says i7 prouces more heat & i7 needs high end graphics card since it don have integrated graphics & i5-540M normal graphics card is enough

now my doubt ison

HEAT & GPU
show me a site which compares temperatures of these processors..!!
