I had to write a Dear Abby letter for a assignment in school. Could some one please tell me what they think of it?
And how Dear Abby should Reply?
Or how I could make it seem more real and more well written.
Thanks
Dear Abby,
I have a wonderful friend, “Doug,” who until now has been very strict about his morals and obeying the law. He has started drinking alcohol to escape reality and his troubles. All of his family and friends are very worried and don’t know what to do. Lately he has been driving under the influence, which is very worrying. His family and I have been talking and are thinking of what to do to help him, we are thinking of trying to get him into a alcohol rehabilitation center, but whenever we try confront him of his problem he just denies it and goes off, hides, and drinks more. I was wondering what we could do to get him professional help, and get him to realize that he does have a drinking problem?
