THIS NEVER ENDING MOMENT

The slow caress of finger tips.
Hearts oh so intertwined.
My soul soars ever upward
As your eyes lock on mine.

This moment held between us
As the universe stops its spin,
And I know that not to hold you
Would be a mortal sin.

Your heartbeat thunders in my ear,
Crying out my name.
I feel my heart start pounding,
Screaming just the same

The sound of quiet weeping
Now echoes in my ear.
I pull you ever closer,
The one I hold so dear.

If this moment ever ends
I think that I shall die.
In silent contemplation
A teardrop swells my eye.

Old Devil.
Thank u 4 ur kind words :)
Funny thing is, I never feel the need to write when I feel happy about my life.

Depression is the best asset to poetry; beautiful way of using your feelings, plastered in paper, to share with others on the same road.
Thank you for sharing it with us.
