i would like to talk to people who have uterine fibroids or had them does...

...anyone know if there is a chat site? I have multiple uterine fibroids that are very problematic and i would like to talk to people who ave them or have suffered with them and had treatment or are getting treatment, as i am now after research discovering the prospects of having children for me is going to be limited whch ever route i take. It is all very daunting and i want to get as much info as possible before my next appointment. Does anybody know where or if there is any sites like this

I don't know of any sites, but I have fibroids. I had no idea I had them until I was at my 12 week check up with my ob. He thought my dates were wrong because my uterus was about 20 weeks in size. I went for an ultra sound and they found the fibroids. It does not mean you will not be able to have children, as I am 16 weeks pregnant, but it does increase the risk of miscarriage, but not by much.
