previous year? I started a course at a university last year in the UK but because I did not meet the regulations for student finance at the time I had to withdraw from the course after the first term. I now owe them £3700 which I obviously do not have. I would like to restart this year if I meet the criteria but I am not sure I will be allowed to as I owe them money. I have applied through UCAS and have been given an unconditional offer for this academic year. Do you think I will face problems on enrolment day or is there a way around this? (I did ask to set up a payment plan but all they would offer is to pay it off over 4 months which I wasn't able to do and they have now handed it over.)
EDIT: I just though I would add that I am more than happy to pay them, I was never my intention not to pay them, however, I don't have that kind of money in one lump sum. I am with a financial management company who are negotiating payment terms with the person I have been handed over to but it won't be paid in full by the time the course starts.
