We live in a rural area in SE. Texas. We have many houses in our area, but no High Speed Internet services. The closest tower is about two miles away. ATT said we are out of the reception area. There are houses on our block and in our neighborhood that would benefit from this service. Currently, we have Hughes Net sat service, but it is not high speed. For what we pay for that one service, normally pays for phone, internet, and cable television. If we exceed our authorized download MB's, we are downgraded to dial-up for 24 hrs. What are the steps we can do to get high speed internet in our area. Do you think a petition to ATT would work? Do you have any suggestions that we could take to get them to provide us with this service? Your help is greatly appreciated.
