I would like to join the military when I'm older, but I have a few questions?

Hello, so I'm 14, but I want to join the military when I am older. My first question is, are women allowed in combat? Because while I was looking some of my questions up, it said women are currently not allowed in combat, that it is reserved for men. I was wondering, is that still true? I have no idea how old this resource is.

My next question is, should I consider joining the Army or the Marines? Like I said, I'm 14, so I do have time to consider this, I was just wondering what you thought.

Another question is, how can I train now? I want to start now, because from what I've read, when you train there it can be quite a stress because they work you so hard. And I'm a bit out of shape. So I want to start now.

I think that's all I really have to ask, but thank you for your answers before hand.

Women aren't allowed in combat jobs. The only way they will be able to see combat is if they volunteer for it.

You're the only one that can decide which branch is best for you. All branches are very beneficial. But talk to all the recruiters and they will point out the specifics!

As for training, just to the regulars now. The push ups, the sit ups, and the running. Don't get too into just yet. Go easy for now until you really know what you want to do. You're still young and your mind can change by tomorrow!
