I would like to get an Android how much would it cost? I have sprint.?

I know this question sounds sooo stupid but I have not finished my 2 year contract with sprint..not even one full year but I picked a dumb phone that I really regret. It is the LG Rumor Touch its not a completely horrible phone it does the job like texting, calling and some other stuff but its a bit boring...well not a 'BIT' I mean REALLY boring nothing to do on their...I got it in august 2010. All of my friends have like cool phones like blackberry torch and androids and I am stuck with this dumb phone for like 2 years! I picked it out online so i didnt really get to test it out i liked it at first but now i dont. I treat it real goood i never dropped it, never scratched it up, or ever thrown it. I just figured if i have to keep it for 2 years than theres really no point it treating it like this piece of shit it is. I am in middle school yes it may seem like i am complaining. I do not want the iphone theres nothing great about that phone. Androids are so cool how much would they cost if i buy a phone that dont come with a rebate lets say..the samsung transfrom?? how much would that be? sorry but i just hate my phone.

anyways a lot of people just get new phones but they pay full price or something like that. its not like i was just gonna switch to another company. I highly doubt it costs thousands because to cancel you contract it costs like somewhere around $300 my uncle had canceled his plan with AT&T is how i know.
How was getting a new phone without finishing the contract breaking the contract? I never said that I was gonna switch over to a new phone company.
