I wonder, What is cheaper Car feul(Gasoline) or Public transportation?

I can't figure out which is one is more cheaper. I know that the longer you have a clean drivers license the cheaper your car insurance will be, and the more awful your license is the more it will cost you for car insurance. and Gasoline hmmm Not to sure, how much would it you drive in 5 boro's to look for work?.
